"Opportunity Knocks"
This poem was written and performed by six teachers at Donburn Primary School during a Professional Development Day facilitated by Michelle Dabrowski in which a full day was dedicated to leading a whole team of teaching staff learning how spoken word poetry can be used in the classroom for any year level.
This power point was presented at Michelle's session for teachers at the Vate Conference. It highlights the work Michelle has done in schools in Victoria linking spoken word to Street Art and the style and ways Michelle engages young people to get them interested in writing and performance.
