The Love Swamp Lowdown!

Slamalama News... Come join us on March 31st for features from Abe Nouk and Nel Da Silva!

For centuries Artists have been fascinated by the mysteries of what lies at the centre of our universe, our being, our purpose on the planet.

Into the centre we go.

The theme this month at Slama is optional but we love trying to enchant your writing flow zone and build a fire under our collective explorations!

Some questions to consider if you'd like to tackle the theme this month.

What is at the centre of your practice that you keep spiralling back to?

How does the contents of your centre (physical or metaphorical) stabilize your work, your practice, your life?

How can you make this theme work for you?
How can you speak to it?
What can you learn from it?

“Slamalamadingdong has given me a safe place to gather, to be however I need to be in a city, it has given me a place to take off my mask, it has given me a family of understanding, it has given me something honest to look forward to. It has provided a way for our community to preserve culture through story telling."
